Using Req info to populate an Offer Letter

If a requisition is selected, is it possible to use tags to populate that information in an offer letter? i.e.  I have "hiring manager" as a drop down field selected when a req is created. When the offer is made, by the recruiter, I don't want them to have to select the hiring manager again (as an offer letter field). I would rather the system say "what req is this offer for?" and then populate a bunch of offer info based on the requisition selection.

I don't see this anywhere... but I know there was mention of an offer letter overhaul in the coming future. Thoughts?
