OBI: no prompt window when running results?

Hello!

We are just beginning to recreate reports in OBI. We have a few prompts - department code, dates - that we created but they are only appearing when opening an analysis. When in edit mode, the prompt window does not appear before running results; leading to error (too much information to show). Can anyone assist with this please?
