view status page

We want to have another page to appear after the returning applicant submitted their changes and not to loop back to the view status page.  I was told that this is by designed that the view status page what the returning applicant sees after logging in and after they have submitted their changes. 

I just want to know if what the other clients have done in this case to let the returning applicant know that their changes have been completed or submitted successfully.
