Populating offer letter with merge fields

Hi,

I'm hoping someone has experience populating offer letters with merge fields and can give me some input. The merge function works well with a .RTF document until I try to populate the text from the requisition description field. When the text populates, the HTML code shows. Does anyone know of a way to do this and have the text from that field show up cleanly? I tried using an HTML document, but when I merge into the .html doc, none of the info in any of the fields populates accurately. I hope someone can help! I'm happy to answer additional
