Resizing the page width in the new reporting system

Since we have had this question come up a few times I thought I would post this information on creating a wide report.
When you migrate a custom report or create a new one, you will notice that you now have to select a layout:
The ‘Default’ Layout is designed to fit on a portrait page. So if your report needs to be pretty wide you can select ‘Very Wide Table’ or at least ‘Default Landscape’ as the layout. But if you have already passed this point, you can still make changes. You have two options (and these are the Help>Reports under ‘Changing Page Layouts, Fonts, and Colors’):
