Termed employees and locking of Taleo HM or Recruiter Account

When an employee is terminated, how do you handle locking or deleting their Taleo Hiring Manager account or Taleo Recruiter Account? Do you have any kind of automated way of handling this? We currently get a ticket from the help desk for every termination and then have to check to see if the person being terminated is even set up as a Taleo user. If they are set up then we lock the account, otherwise, we close the ticket siting that the user was not a user of the system.  It would seem that there should be a better way
