Structure management in organisation - not able to delete level 2

I am trying to change the structure of organization from 2 levels to 1 level. When i delete level 2 i am facing error saying "This level is already present in Career Section or Career Section portal pages." When i take one career section and see the properties, i can see that level under "Levels Displayed in Candidate Profile". How to disable this field?
