Excluding candidates that were never moved from step and status in an average

I'm pulling a report based on step and status, submission, and average duration. However, I realized that the numbers are much lower than the average (therefore projecting a better figure) because it's not calculating those candiates that were never moved from one step to another. I want to figure the average duration of candidates that were sitting in our very first step and status. We have a few candidates in each requisition though that were never moved. How do I pull that count or exclude them from the calcuation? Any ideas? I'm using the Candidate Summary by Recruiting Status.

Howdy, Stranger!
