Adding a field to the requisition

I want to add an additional field on to the requisition

Greetings ,

I think to add an additional field to the requisition I go into Page layouts right?  I am attaching a screen shot of where I want to add a drop down field.  I would like to add :Pay Group: with a pick-list.  I am attaching a screen shot of where I would like to reside on the requisition and it looks like there is space for one more line item, but in the past I have had some difficulty getting things to show up where I want them to.
