Victor, were you able to figure out how to view the .catalog file? I am also having issues figuring out how to view it.

    Hi Eric -

I'm getting a compression inflate error 3 when trying to unarchive this. I'm not able to find anything on what's causing this error. Could it be the cat file is corrupt?

    Thanks,

    Amanda

Dear Kristine, Thank you! Still, I cannot open the file because it has the .catalog.

    Best regards, Dawn

Dawn - You should be able to see it in Catalog view from OBI.  Go to OBI, click on the Catalog link at the top of the page.  From there, navigate to the folder you would like to use to store this content.  Click on it in the navigator pane on the left, and you should see a series of Tasks in the lower left corner.  One is Unarchive.  Use this option and then browse to the downloaded .catalog file. This will import the content directly into OBI.  You can then edit or review the content in the reports contained in the folder.

    Good Luck.

    Kristine,

I downloaded the "Dynamic Date Samples.Catalog" file, then from within OTBI I navigated to my custom folder and clicked the "Unarchive" in the Tasks pane.  I get an error message: "Compression - inflate Error - 3".  Can anyone help me resolve this issue?  (Using Oracle BI EE 11.1.1.9) Thanks.
