TTF Calculation - Negative Values due to Days on Hold
Content
We calculate TTF based on (Days from First Sourcing Date to Offer Accept Date – Total Days on Hold). We run into situations where a req is placed on hold for a lengthy amount of time and it ends up skewing the TTF with a negative value.
In looking at two examples, TTF of -86 and -73 are skewed due to the req being placed on hold after both candidates accepted offers and were hired. The latest hire accepted their offer on 6/17 and the req was placed on hold on 7/18 with notes “On hold per hiring manager.” The req was reactivated on 11/4 and filled due to decreasing the number of openings from 3 to 2.
