How do you handle candidate (employee) transfers in Taleo?

We have a number of cases where a candidate is hired into a requisition in one division. Later, they decide to change roles and are hired for another requisition in a separate division (basically transferring). I asked Oracle how to document this and they said to leave them as 'hired' in both requisitions. However, has anyone created a 'transfer' candidate-requisition status to use for the original requisition? If so, how has this worked? Any issues for either system processing or reporting?
