Update

Updated instructions for Release 12 are now available in this post.

Original Post

To assign an asset book to a user, you assign the corresponding data role to the user. These data roles are created automatically, one for each asset book.

Sometimes, a user may need access to data from all asset books. While such accesses can be granted by assigning all the corresponding data roles, this process may not be efficient for a large number of asset books. In addition, if you create a new asset book after the initial implementation, the corresponding data role for the new asset book will need to be manually assigned.
