Page responsiveness inside Compensation

Looking for anyone else who has experienced performance issues inside the workforce compensation module.

We've been using Workforce compensation for about 1.5 years through 3 compensation cycles and consistently receive feedback about mild system responsiveness issues especially when dealing with large worksheets.  This cycle however we've had more users complaining about responsiveness while working in the tool regardless of the size of the worksheets (i.e. # of employees).  We've worked SRs in the past with little success as it is hard to track down the issue but was wondering what your experience with this has been and what you've seen work / not work as far as trying to tackle this issue.
