Report returning actual employment history dates

Need help creating report returning actual dates and up to only three results per employee

Does anyone have any advice as to how I can get actual dates started and ended along with company and title within work experience?  My "between" filter is only returning the 15th of the month on all date fields (I created a custom MM/DD/YYYY filter to delete the time stamp).  I'm also trying to only show up to three results per new hire.  This condition is returning an error.  Seems pretty simple but I'm stumped!  Thank you in advance for any advice!
