Requisition data is not pulling into the email template


I am creating email templates to use with our Contacts tab. I've added all my staffing agencies as contacts and want to be able to email them when a position opens that I need their support on. I've created a template and have included requisition fields on the template. I'd like the email to automatically pull in some requisition details into the template. 

When I tested the template, the fields did not update when I selected the requisition for which the email is for. Any thoughts/or ideas?
