Expose Personalized Job List to Intranet Portal Using Web Services/API

Our company is working on rolling out a new intranet portal. Within one of the widgets on the portal, we would like to expose the personalized job list from the ‘Jobs Matching My Profile’ page of the internal career section. The goal is to keep away from hyperlinks/deep links and use web services to display the personalized job list upfront to the associate. We are attempting to provide a more personalized approach to the portal without forcing the associate to click through multiple hyperlinks. 

We have been looking into whether web services/API can be leveraged to accomplish this.  Any information on whether this is possible and/or success stories would be most welcome - thank you!
