15A Delegation - Who gets the Notifications?

Do notifications still go to the originallly intended recipient?

When assigning someone as a delegate, does the originally intended recipient still get the notifications/communications as well as the delegate?  Or do the then only go to the delegate?  I thought they went to both but I have someone telling me they are no longer getting them so I'm trying to troubleshoot to see if this is the issue or if something else might be at play.
