HCM Cloud retro salary actions into ADP

edited Sep 5, 2020 12:33AM in Payroll and Global Payroll Interface (GPI) 1 comment

Summary

I'm interested to learn how others are handling retro salary adjustments from HCM Cloud into ADP

Content

After some work on the HCM Cloud to ADP interface we've become to understand that retro pay changes are not correctly reflected in the delivered ADP extract. The effective date is the date of the extract run and not a back dated effective date.

As many know a retro pay change can happen in HCM Cloud (say August 1) but entered into the system on August 26. When the ADP extract is run on August 26 it pulls in the change but the effective date is August 26. ADP needs to correctly pay the employee as of August 1.
