Prevent Word Wrap on Selection Field in User Defined Form

How do you prevent the words from wrapping on a user defined application form for a selection field?

When I build user defined forms (for example, Candidate Personal Information) and I have field that utilizes a radio button or checkboxes, the field wraps the text instead of going across the single line of the form. (I have merged the cells on that line so the cell should extend across the form. Other words on the form do extend across as expected like in a paragraph.)

Why does this happen? Is this a setting in the branding file? If so, can you tell me where in the branding file?
