Administrator as Requisition Owner

Summary

Is there any reason that I as an administrator need to also be a Requsition Owner?

Content

I turned off all my emails for new applicants since it was clogging up inbox and the managers review their own applications. However, I occasionally want to be notified when someone applies for specific jobs. When my implementation specialist set us up, she had me set it up so I am a "requisition owner" on all requisitions. Is that really necessary since I am an administrator and should be able to see all the requisitions? Is there any functionality I can't do if I am an administrator that a requisition recruiter could do?

Howdy, Stranger!
