How do I reference another report without filtering?

Not sure if there is a way to do this.  Ideally I am looking for a capability similar to a vlookup in Exce where I can combine the results of two reportsl.  If I can't pull back a specific value from another report I would at least like to know if there is a match. 

In one report I have all requisitions that have not been posted yet with template job codes.  In another report I have requisitions and job codes that have a specific comment on the history.  (this list will continue to grow so managing through a specified list in SQL would be hard)
