Performance Differences Between IE and Chrome for Fusion Comp

Summary

We recently benchmarked IE versus Chrome, and Chrome was significantly faster

Content

All:

In an attempt to avoid some pretty significant performance challenges with Fusion during our annual Compensation cycle last year, We recently benchmarked IE (the corporate standard browser) versus Google Chrome.

We found Chrome to be significantly faster in fetching and rendering data, and are recommending deploying that to all of Comp managers this year.

To the Community: does anyone have any idea why there'd be such a marked difference between the two browsers?

Thanks in advance!
