Recommendations/Solutions needed for recurring certifications

Our organization is new to Taleo Learn and will be implementing it this year.  Our current need is the ability to track courses that are tied to certifications that are renewed on an annual basis. Our courses are ILTs which we have learned presents as a problem, because they cannot recur.  What solutions, if any, has anyone found if you currently have a similar need?
