Moving averages based on Months
Summary
Issue with Moving average using Month Calendar FunctionContent
Hi -
We are currently having issues with our reports with moving averages.
With the new year coming in, new months data for the new year is being taken into account (and will also eventually aggregate with previous years months) when calculating for moving averages.
We currently have candidates new hire dates grouped into month using the MONTH function (MONTH("Submission Dates"."Hired Date")). Since no year is included the system calculates based on chronology of months regardless of year.
Is there a function to classify/group hires based on month per year? (not only month) This will allow us to come up with unique months per year and allow the moving average to calculate properly/
