Ability to manage employee referrals (and outside referrals) within Taleo

Hello. I was wondering if anyone knew if Taleo had a way to manage referrals.  Currently we rely on the candidates to identify a referral as a source when they complete their application and we have a custom field to record who that referral was if it was an employee.  I wasn't sure if anyone had a more sophisticated, less automated way to manage the process.  Thank you.
