Common Login / my Jobs page across career sections

Is there a way to have a common login / My jobs page across multiple career sectons

Esteemed gurus, 

We have a requirement where the candidate would log in from a common Login page and view their job applications on a common page. However, when they click on each Job submission, they should be redirected to the respective career section where the application was submitted.

Would really appreciate any pointers/ideas on doing this. Am really hoping that someone calls me stupid and show me a simple setup that I missed.
