need help with SSO configuration

We configured SSO as per the self service document, but now we are struck with the endpoint URL issue. not sure what should we use there, can we access regular zone URL and it will automatically get the setup for SSO.

I cannot seem to find the settings where at the user account level we can make login though SSO option, please help if this is not the silly question, even if it is, please help, cannot figure it out, and our IT is lost as well.
