Bulk Update Employee Records on Taleo Learn

I am trying to update employee records with their department names. Initially all the employee records were uploaded using bulk import without their department details.

When I am doing the update, do I have to provide all the other information to the new sheet? For example I have used their company, email Id, Designation, Hire date, etc. My concern here is will other fields will be updated to NULL if I load the department details along with Person ID?

Could you all let me know the best practice?
