how do I add parentheses in a filter

I have a filter with an 'OR'.  I want to add parentheses unless there is something else I should be doing.  The filter is not working.  I am trying to retrieve candidates who are internal in an open req. OR a UDF of 'transfer' for a filled req.  It seems to be displaying only filled reqs.  Thanks.

 

Candidate Is Internal is equal to / is in  Yes
AND	Submission Created Date  is greater than or equal to  01/01/2017 12:00:00 AM AND  Current Status is not equal to / is not in  Filled OR    Hire Reason_LUDS Value is equal to / is in  Transfer
