Approach to archiving EBS data post migration to Fusion HCM

Hi,

I work for Co-op and am the architect accountable for HR, Payroll, Recruitment and other related HR functions.

We're an on-prem EBS customer, but in the process of migrating to Fusion HCM. We're already live on Fusion with performance for all colleagues and payroll for a couple of our smaller business areas. The mass migration to Fusion payroll is due in the coming months.

As is often the case, we've focused the bulk of our effort on implementing Oracle Fusion, and less on our plans for what we do with EBS. The majority of the historic data held in EBS is NOT being migrated to Fusion, but for legislative and business process reasons, we still need to retain a significant proportion of it. The requirements around HR user access to this historic data are still evolving, however it is clear that at least a portion of users will need regular (daily initially) access.

Howdy, Stranger!
