Controlling worksheet column access
Summary
Can we control read-write property of worksheet column based on custom column value?Content
We use delivered worksheet column for managers to choose rating for their employees and click save. We have only one plan to do ratings and merit increases.
Ideally we do it in 2 phases. Phase # 1 is for ratings and # 2 for merit increases.
In phase # 1, we ask managers to give rating and if they are interested in starting merit allocations (for phase # 2) they can plan by entering salary increases.
However we don’t enable ‘submit’ and ‘approve’ at plan level in this phase # 1. Because if submit is enabled, then worksheet is read-only and managers can’t plan merit allocations for following phase.
