Rel 12 Goal Management - Administer Goals Page - Review Period Field

How to enable the Review Period Field on Administer Goals Page for Release 12 - the field is introduced in Rel 13 and not in Rel 12

We are in the process of upgrading to Release 12. 

Rel 12 RCD notes mention that Administer goals page now has a new field called "Review Period"

Is there a procedure to enable this field? Does it get enabled automatically?

We have got one of our test pods upgraded to Rel 12 and I am not able to see the said field as shown in the RCD screen shots. 

Please advise.
