Workforce Goals - Goals Status Overview Real Time showing incorrect hierarchy

We have been using the subject area Workforce Goals - Goals Status Overview Real Time to build some reports, and have recently noticed that the hierarchy for some employees is appearing incorrectly when using the Assignment Manager (Unsecured) folder from this Subject Area. However the hierarchy appears correctly when we use the Assignment Manager (Unsecured) folder from the Worker Assignment Real Time Subject Area. 

We are building a simple analytics that shows the number of performance goals by status for employees within a manager hierarchy. In a particular case, we have an assignment change for a specific manager wherein their reporting manager was changed on 29-MAY-2017. However, all subsequent goals reports built for employees under this manager show up on the old hierarchy and the new one, instead of only showing in the new one when using the Workforce Goals - Goals Status Overview Real Time Subject Area. We also tried using the hierarchy alone from the Worker Assignment Real Time Subject Area, but
