How do your former employees know their user name and password if they previously SSO while on the j

Summary

Employees who are terminated and then re-apply to our company are creating new profiles

Content

Hi everyone,

I'm wondering how you handle this situation?  We use SSO here at Eaton and so all internal employees have a profile created by an integration from our HRMS system.   All employees have a user name = their employee number (EXXXXXXX) and their password is defaulted to a generic password.   We never give them this information because they need to apply using our internal SSO site.    Many of them also have their Eaton email address on their profile (if they have one).

The issue we are having is that when they are terminated and they come back to apply again to a position at Eaton, they are creating a new profile in the system because they may not know what their user name and password is.  They can retrieve that information from the system and some do, but many don't.

Howdy, Stranger!
