For Viewing data in the infolets , its same as permissions on the subject area and the corresponding work area of the application.
But what if you can view the data /graphs etc. correctly in the BI Catalog but when added to the Infolet - It's blank\white Data !
Note- This is happening when person is having seeded roles e.g. HR Analyst /Specialist etc. !
Tip -
1. Navigate to Setup and Maintenance --> Manage Administrator Profile Values
2. Search for the Profile Option Code "ORACLE.ADF.VIEW.ALLOWED_ORIGINS"
