Need Help Formatting Output in BI Answers

I am in HR and am trying to write a report quickly without asking HRIS for help in the BI Answers section of the system. I was easily able to format the date to what I need, but need some help with the following:
- How would I remove the dashes from the SSN output field?
-How can I change the output name of a field (Ex. Male = M and Female = F) or (Single = S, Divorce = D)
- Can I add cell output limits (ex. Address 1 can only has a 30 character limit, state can only be 2 digits, etc).
If this would be something better left to the HRIS professionals, please let me know! I could always edit this in excel after the fact, but I am trying to limit the manual interventions as much as possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
