Using Taleo for volunteers

Summary

Has anyone used Taleo for volunteer applications and to store them?

We are looking at the potential of setting up a careers page in Taleo for volunteers to navigate to, fill out a simple application and then store them in Taleo.  I was wondering if anyone has done this and any pro's/con's to doing so.  I appreciate any advice.
