Hi ,

   We are implementing a 4 day prior to start date reminder email that is to be sent to candidate as part of onboarding process . 

We identified two ways it can be implemented , with both having some issues - 

Option 1 --> Create a task with action as "Send Correspondence" . Attached the email reminder message template to this task . The message template has the To field as the candidate email id token .

In the onboarding process , created a step referring to this task and step assignee as New Hire . When this step is executed as part of the onboarding process , the email reminder is sent to candidate but the same reminder email is showing  as  a task in the new hire onboarding portal . We do not want to display this email reminder as a task in the portal .
