When importing requisition templates, how do I need to format a date so it imports properly?

I am importing requisition templates and on my CSV file the Opened Date reads as 10/5/2017.  When I go to import it doesn't pull the information into the requisition template at all.  I'm assuming it is just the way I have formatted it.
