At which point in the process do you ask for Right to Work documentation?

Keen to understand how companies manage this process

Content

Hello,

Of course in the UK it is illegal to hire a worker who does not have the right to work and it is the company's responsibiiltiy to check this before offering the worker a job, with a fine of up to £20,000 if this process is not followed.

We're keen to hear how other companies manage the documentation in Taleo, do you take copies and scan and upload it to the candidates profile? Do you ask the candidate to upload a copy during application?

What checks or system blocks can be entered to not give hiring managers the opportunity to offer a job to a candidate without this documentation?

Howdy, Stranger!
