Hello -
I'm looking for the following information in a report from the Fixed Asset sub-ledger. I am looking for a report that shows the following (at least):
- Asset Number (description and number)
- Category
- Location
- Start Date
- Method
- Life (years or months)
- Original Cost
- Cost
- Depreciation
- YTD Depreciation
- Depreciation Reserve
- Period End Net Book Value
- GL Account information (full account with all segments) - Cost Account, Accumulated Depreciation Account, Depreciation Account
I'm using the "Journal Entry Reserve Ledger" which includes many fields I don't need and doesn't include several fields I would like to see on a monthly basis. Generally, I'm looking for best practices and instructions for reporting from the Fixed Asset sub-ledger.
