Pulling out ready calculated grade steps from comp. worksheet to grade step progression

We are using performance review’s competence area to define skill points that are used in comp. worksheet where we calculate new grade steps for each eligible employee.

Content

Our Compensation worksheet defines a new grade step based on skill points as well as new salary. We are able to update new salaries to employees by using Compensation processes but we have not found a way to update new grade steps to employees. Has anyone ideas is there any possibility to pull out grade steps from worksheet to grade step progression process by using fast formula etc.
