Assigning task to Hiring manager

I have been poking around the forums here and still unable to find a solution that fits or needs. We have 60+ offices and each one as their own highering manager.

 When assigning a onboarding packet, is it possible to assign a task just to the employee's Manager using the field?  Rather than creating a packet for each location and manually assigning the static User (in our case Highering Manger) to the task. I would like to avoid method if possible to eliminate issues with miss updating packets in the future.
