Write a Fast Formula for Extract Rule to pull Lookup Code

Content

Hi Friends,

Hope this would be helpful for those who wants to call a FF of type Extract Rule to get a lookup Code.

Create a Value Set to store the Query to extract Lookup Code from that lookup.

Use the fast formula below to get that lookup code based upon HCM extract's  Input Parameters

DEFAULT FOR DATA_ELEMENTS IS EMPTY_TEXT_TEXT

INPUTS ARE DATA_ELEMENTS (TEXT_TEXT)

IF DATA_ELEMENTS.EXISTS('DeptXrefCode') AND DATA_ELEMENTS.EXISTS('LocationName')

THEN

(

  DEPARTMENT_NAME = DATA_ELEMENTS['DepartmentName']

  LOCATION_NAME = DATA_ELEMENTS['LocationName']

Howdy, Stranger!
