Hello,
How do other companies handles contractors applying to permanent positions at their organization? We currently use the agency portal to have the contracting company submit the candidate. It is not ideal. Many times the contractors has already applied to roles and then the contracting company cannot submit the contractor.
We are considering using a micro-site so that contractors can apply directly to positions. All positions would be hard-coded with a contractor source so that the contractors will be identified as such in Taleo.
I would be interested to hear how other companies are handling contractors. We want to ensure they have a positive candidate experience and also are correctly identified as contractors in Taleo.
