Changes only data in BI Reports

Please consider the following scenario:
The Department of an employee is updated from 'Department A' to 'Department B' on 15th December 2017.
The report is run on 2nd Jan 2018 and this data gets picked in the report. Now, we again run the report on 15th Jan 2018, now only the data that has been changed between 2nd Jan 2018 and 15th Jan 2018 should get picked up in the report run on date 15th Jan 2018. The data example which I stated above should not get picked in the report.
Could you please provide your inputs if this is possible in BI Publisher reports.
