Summary

Is it possible to create an RMA without having to reference a sales order ?

We  create many RMAs per week to return material from the field. We are told that RMAs can only be created by referencing sales order. This is a highly inefficient process from our perspective. Is it possible to create RMA without referencing Sales Order or Serial Number ?
