New Applicant Notification For Hiring Managers?

Hi, Is it possible for Hiring Managers to be sent an auto email when a candidate applies to their position...similar to how the owner is notified? I don't want to make the hiring managers owners since I do not want them to have access to everything that comes with the owner status.
