Can I Show A Candidate's User Status In Their Profile

Hi,

Is it possible to add user info within a candidate's profile?

Basically I would like to view/edit (certain user fields) within a candidate's profile.

I searched, but don't see this as an option.....would be great to make changes to a user's profile instead of having to go to another screen to do so.  I created a custom field to show if they are a current or former employee & this is really the only field I would like to change & be able to view.
